External sleeve connector for joining two lengths of round spiral pipe or a pipe to a fitting. The sleeve slips over the outside of both pipe ends and butts them together inside the sleeve. Seal both joints with duct sealant and fasten with sheet metal screws per SMACNA. Paint-grip steel with a surface that accepts field-applied paint, for exposed duct that will be finished to match the space. Pressure class: 2″ WG. Gauge: Per SMACNA pressure class. Fabricate and install per SMACNA / project specifications and approved project specifications.
